AMHPS Symposium Invitation

The Association of Minority Health Professions Schools, Inc (AMHPS) was founded in 1976 and is comprised of medical, dental, pharmacy and veterinary medicine schools at HBCUs. Please visit our website at www.minorityhealth.org. At our June Board of Directors meeting, the Board agreed that each institution would place a link on the university and/or department’s website that would direct viewers to AMHPS. This would increase the visibility of AMHPS and also aid in our recruitment of student programs on each campus. Dr. Fermin provided your name as a contact at your institution. Can you please assist the Association in two ways? First, AMPHS would like to distribute the below email to students on your campus. We are trying to primarily recruit students from our collective campuses and hope to use this vehicle to connect with the students. Second, can you assist the Association with placing a link to the Association on your department/school website? Your contact at the Association is Dennis Barassa and he can be reached at dbarassa@minorityhealth.org or 678-904-4457. We truly appreciate your support and timely response and look forward to recruiting a number of students across our collective campuses.
