Tuskegee School of Veterinary Medicine Kicks Off 2009 Small Animal Wellness Clinic

Riley Tuskegee, AL - To promote comprehensive health care for pets and help prevent diseases and illnesses of Macon County and surrounding counties pet populations, Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine Small Animal Hospital presents the 2009 Small Animal Ambulatory Service Wellness Clinic from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturdays starting January 31, 2009. The Small Animal Ambulatory Service Wellness Clinic Schedule is as follows:

* January 31: Town Hall/Police Department (Shorter, AL)

* February 14: Volunteer Fire Department (Little Texas, AL)

* February 28: Volunteer Fire Department (Franklin, AL)

* March 14: District 2 Recreation Center (Warrior Stand, AL)

* March 21: Volunteer Fire Department (Fort Davis, AL)

* April 4: Volunteer Fire Department (Brownville, AL)

* April 25: Torch Truck Stop (Notasulga, AL)

Drs. Jeannine Bellamy, Head of the Department of Clinical Sciences, Dr. Latina Gambles, and Dr. Pamela Guy, are serving as the Small Animal Ambulatory Wellness Clinic Clinicians. “We want our clients to remember that preventive care is not only important for people, but for animals as well,”said Dr. Bellamy. Fees will be charged for services rendered such as vaccinations. Appointments are not necessary.
