Faculty Position: Gross Anatomy

Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine, Nursing and Allied Health Department of Biomedical Sciences

The Tuskegee University, Department of Biomedical Sciences in the College of Veterinary Medicine, Nursing and Allied Health (CVMNAH) invites applications for a Gross Anatomy faculty position. This is a full-time, 12- month, tenure-leading track appointment in Gross Anatomy at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. The candidate should have earned the DVM or equivalent degree. The PhD or equivalent degree is required in Anatomy or a closely related field. Preference will be given to the candidate with relevant experience. Duties include teaching courses in veterinary medicine, nursing and allied health students and developing a funded research program in the area of interest. Individuals with PhD or DVM/PhD should apply. The individual will be expected to develop a strong, independent or collaborative research program in his/her area of interest. The appointee should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with other faculty and staff in a team oriented effort. Salary and rank are negotiable and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
