The Veterinary Teaching Hospital is a full-service practice for all animal species. It provides primary care, preventive medicine, and after-hour services to the surrounding community.
It offers specialized medical, surgical, and diagnostic services to the community and to referring veterinarians and their clients.
Tuskegee provides a wide range of outreach programs, including service to underserved areas, horse and small animal health fairs, clinical pathology, histology, necropsy services, and a large animal ambulatory and small animal house call practice.
The Hospital also offers animal behavior consultations and grief counseling and support. It is a strong advocate of the human-animal bond.
